Update: our introduction period has officially started! Did you miss the open practices or the introduction period, but do you still want to play lacrosse or try it once or twice to find out if you like the sport? No worries, you can always contact the board by clicking here. In fact, you can join any time during the season, so signing up is not bound to the beginning of the season.
Are you interested in trying out lacrosse? Join our introduction period!
In september Amsterdam Lacrosse organizes an introduction period for new members. Find out if lacrosse will be your next sport! During this period you will learn the basics of lacrosse, get to know your future teammates, and join the Lions during drinks or special activities after practices!
All levels are welcome, no prior experience is needed! All equipment will be arranged for you by the club.
Not yet convinced about signing up for the introduction period? Come and try lacrosse during our two open practices on Tuesday 1 September or Friday 4 September 20:00-22:00 to see if you like lacrosse and decide after if you want to sign up for the intro period.
Practices take place at: Radioweg 71, 1098 NG Amsterdam (Sportpark Middenmeer / near Science Park)
The introduction period
- Tuesday & Friday practices (1, 4, 8, 11, 15 September / 20:00-22:00);
- Several social activities with 1.5m distance after practice;
- Lions’ club tournament (18 September / 20:00-22:00);
- including awesome closing event with 1.5m distance after!
- Newcomers Tournament (Saturday 26 September / 10:00-20:00).
This complete package will only cost you 25 euros, which will be substracted from the membership fee if you become a member after the introduction period.
